How to layer without tangling

The rule is to vary your lengths by at least two inches and keep the stones small. Two necklaces at the same length will spend the day twisting around each other; two inches apart and they sit as distinct lines. Is this too small to notice?
On its own it is subtle by design. Layered with a second chain it does what it is meant to - adds a second line rather than a second focal point.

Is amethyst durable enough for daily wear?
Yes. It is quartz, at 7 on the Mohs hardness scale - the same hardness as the other quartz stones in the collection and hard enough to resist everyday scratching.

What should I layer it with?
Any of our 16-18 inch pendants worn at the longer setting, so the two sit about two inches apart.
