Why rhodium rather than plain silver

Sterling silver tarnishes - it reacts with sulfur in the air and goes dull, then gray. Rhodium is a platinum-group metal plated over the silver, and it does not. It keeps the bright white finish without the polishing routine, which matters on a piece you want to wear without thinking about it.

Does rhodium-plated silver tarnish?
Not the way bare sterling does. The rhodium layer is what you are actually wearing against your skin, and it is chemically stable.

How do I clean it?
